Brent Thomson Memorial Ride

Posted: March 5th, 2009 by Karl Rosengarth

Join fellow cyclists on March 14th as they celebrate the life of mountain bike legend Brent Thomson on the Bootleg Canyon, Nevada trails that he built and made famous. Brent succumbed to complications of heart bypass surgery last month, and will be honored with a ride, bonfire and toast from his friends, after a day of racing and riding.

Bring your bike out and race Super-D on Saturday, and Downhill on Sunday at the Second Annual St. Patty’s Day event. Visit the race website for more information.

There are still many costs that Brent’s survivors must deal with, so any donations would be greatly appreciated. To make a donation, go to paypal.com and click on “send money” then type in “barretstudio@gmail.com” in the “send money to” field, and follow the directions.
