High School MTB Racing League Formed in Colorado

Posted: November 2nd, 2009 by Karl Rosengarth

colorado high school mtbThe Colorado Mountain Bike Racing League was created to serve as the regional governing body for high school mountain biking in the state of Colorado. The League was founded to foster the development of high quality competitive cross-country mountain biking programming for high school aged athletes. The league expects to begin competition in the fall of 2010, and their vision is to develop high school mountain biking teams across the state by 2015.

The Colorado league is a regional chapter member of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association, the national governing body for interscholastic high school mountain biking—a group that aims to develop high school mountain biking coast-to-coast by 2020.
