Former Dirt Rag editor, and current Trek mountain bike brand manager, Michael Browne is heading back to The Burgh for the 2008 Punk Bike Enduro on December 14th. When the Mothership lands in PA, the booty shall flow.

Mr. Browne says: “Trek makes a bike, you can ride it if you like. Only if you wear, something you can share. A costume so to speak, a prize you will reap. 69er is the ride, may the crowd’s response preside.”

That’s right, a brand-spanking-new Trek 3×9 69er is the prize for the Punk participant with the best costume.

Why, you ask? Mr. Browne says: “Cause we all know Karl’s costumes have always been the best—it’s time to up the ante.”

I’ll toast to that. But Starchild’s gonna opt of this contest and let the other freaks battle for the booty.
