USA Cycling has announced their 2009 Cross Country, Gravity and Ultra-Endurance National Calendars. During the season, athletes will have the opportunity to earn ranking points towards overall titles in men’s and women’s individual and team categories.

Each of the 29 events on the cross country calendar is categorized according to the amount of overall ranking points available, with the three category-1 events offering the most points. The eight-event gravity calendar features downhill, 4-cross, super D and dual slalom events. The ultra endurance calendar offers seven events—consisting of 62-mile races; marathons; and 8-, 12- and 24-hour races.
