Alright, so I got my used cog yesterday for $345. A deal, as this one wasn't hardly ridden, it still had all the reflectors and the CHAIN GUARD on! Have only gone for a brief ride, as the don't mind riding in cold, but I do mind riding in cold, with 40 mph gust, and rain. So far, all I have to say is ..."Snappy!" This thing sort of drives like a ferrarri. Very snappy turn in.

A steal!
You're going to enjoy it. On mine the only time I found the big wheels to be a disadvantage was flat, tight, bermed singletrack. I kept overshooting the turns. However, after a few laps my body/brain relearned how/when to turn and its been aces since then. It falls down hills, will climb anything I have legs/lungs for, and rocks in the technical stuff. Rock gardens are scarry bumps. Log piles feel like there's a rope between my shoulders pulling me up and over. Its just a great, all around bike. And for under $500 its one hell of a buy, and at $345 its a steal!

Just got back from my first short ride. I love this bike. I remember so much why I like steel. I friggin love steel bikes. This bike just absolutely rocks. Changed the seat, Im adding discs and a misfir FU bar and Im done. This thing is the Mr. kittypants all day long!

AND that thing was mounted with kryptonite. THREE separate mounting points and a sticker stating that removal could result in serious injury or death.
