I was thinking 36 hole. Or should i just go 32 hole with a heavier rim than the salsa Delgado x? Your thoughts?

Since I actually read your reveiw on the KM, I know that you tacoed a 29 inch front wheel. Sooo, I would go with the 36 hole hub. ( Just as you suspected). I think your terrain requires it. Out here in I-oh-way, we don't need such burliness, if you are smooth. I weigh 245lbs., 6ft.-1 inch, by the way, so I try to be smooth!
That said, I'd check out that new set of Surly disc compatable hubs, for budget conciousness. Or Phil Wood for the bling-bling in you. (possibly-heck, I don't know!) I run the most excellent Paul disc compatible hubs on my KM ss. A fine barrel-o-bearings, if I do say so! Sorry, no 36 holers though. I don't necessarily like sealed bearing hubs. Can be finicky to adjust, and tough to overhaul. Cup and cone is much more user friendly, in my opinion.
Now that you are thoroughly cone-fused- I bid you adieu!
