I am currently in the market for a 29er. I think I have a frame cinched up we'll see. But I was wanting a suspension fork, and wheels , and tires. My LBS sucks. You have to sneak up on him when he's open, and he won't order anything, and he is always trying to sell me some $300 KHS junk-a-mabike. Mail order or internet sales?

My LBS will hook you up right. www.thepathbikeshop.com.

These guys have all the cool 29'er stuff... in stock. Shoot, they even have 2 of those Pace RC29 carpet-fiber forks, just sitting there on the fork rack!

Tani Wallin is the owner and he knows his shit. Give him a call - 888-608-PATH.

Over on mtbr.com (29" forum) there's a sticky to look up recommended LBS's. Or a chance to ask for one semi-local to you.
Once you've gathered the knowledge you want, of course internet ordering becomes more attractive. Good 29"-friendly LBS's rock though, wish I had one in my country.

Cloxxie is right, if you have a local trek dealer they should be able to offer you 29er schtuff.

Thanks guys. The KM from ebay is now mine. So I'll be checking out the trek dealer. My LBS is not one anymore but there is a town about an hour away from me that is. So I'll go there. Thanks for the help.
