vive la commuting

Im pleased to say that im moving into town, which will virtually destroy the need of my motor vehicle. My distance from work will change from 15 miles to about .8, and believe me, if my car is in the parking lot at work i wont forgive myself! Im so close to reliving the days of ole(okay, 2 summers ago) when i biked everywhere, a good 3000 miles that year. So mabye ill treat myself to a new mtb to celebrate....?

Sweet, Ride everyday and be happy. Last year I decided to buy a sweet bike to encourage my riding and it worked. I highly recommend the idea. Good luck.

absolutely dude...i did the same. i used to commute on an old schwinn but i bought myself a surly cross check last summer. rock and roll. makes commuting tons o' fun.

I used to live .9 miles from work, and now that I live 12 miles from work I love my commute much much more. A nice 30-40 min. ride opens my eyes and shakes loose my insides. I also have a friend that I can commute with sometimes. It is great. Hell I smile even in the rain when I ride to work.
