I competed in the 6 Hours of Power (http://www.heartrateup.com/6hop2006/6hop2006.htm) this past weekend (July 9th, 2006) and wanted to say that the event was well organized and the course was a a blast to ride. Good people, good vibes all around, mon.
My teammate and I managed to finish mid-pack... 29 out of 50 teams, with 6 laps at 6 hrs and 7 minutes. I'm happy with that considering there were plenty of VERY FAST racers out there, and we're more of the occasional racer types.
Speaking of very fast, Ryan LaBar and Michael Browe of Dirt Rag were second in their age group, and had the third overall fastest team, being one of only 3 teams to finish with 8 laps (hopefully, I got all those stats right). The other 2 teams that completed 8 laps were our homeboys from Dirty Harry's bike shop in Verona, PA.
