I saw this thing last week on a trail in Hartwood. I talked to it for about ten minutes then it disapeared. If anyone knows what this thing is I would greatly appreciate some feedback. I think he referred to him/her self as Gubiloob.

Tiki tiki too.

That guy is smoking too much Pokemon.

Last few evening/night rides encountered:
Deers
Turkeys
Great Horned Owl (big-ass mofo swooped down the trail about 10ft above my helmet beam)
'Possum
Racoon

I raced ahead once when I saw eyes glowing up the trail because it's fun to chase down 'possums and scare 'em to see if they play dead (sorry PETA). However, it ended up being a skunk that wasn't about to budge (probably blinded by headlight). Luckily I didn't piss him off & I now I approach with caution.

yesterday i encountered two cayotes chompin on a ground hog in tift farm nature preserve(no bikes alowed). our bikes allow us to sneak up on all sorts of wildlife, but i never say cayotes before. strange to think they live 15 minutes from downtown buffalo, but then again we have nesting peragrine falcons living on the roofs of city hall and the statler towers.

We have a similar creature here in Oregon. Except it has a green cast. Must be the moss growing on it I figure. But I'm sure they are Cousins.

There's lots of riding around here. Some really spectacular. I don't know Hood River that Well but I hooked up there last weekend with a great dive shop and got some good info and a good ride Discover Bicycles is right down town Hood River. Great people. discoverbicyles.com is on their business card. Salem and HoodRiver are several hours apart with the wild card of Portland traffice inbetween to add to the soup. Email me and we can talk particulars better. need to know the style of riding you are after.
