hudson valley area racing

Hey,
I think that it may be fun to try out some mtb racing but I don't really want to travel too... far. Any tips on websites with event calenders that are pretty good for my area.

The beautiful and rapidly overpopulating HUDSON VALLEY? (NY CT MA NJ)

One reason that I would like to know is that recently over at Stewart Buffer Zone area Dark Horse Cycles was hosting a race and I rode the course and it was great; in large part because it was all marked out and I could just ride without having to really think about where I was (I don't know the area to well) without getting lost.

We got a race going in Blue Mtn Reservation in Peekskill, NY.

I think it is sometime in october, but I don't know the exact date yet.
