:D If you're ever in the Newark De, or Southeastern Chester County area, check out the White Clay Creek preserve. There is one long trail that runs along the creek, constantly under thick tree canopy, from Newark to Landenberg Pa. That's about 6 miles of scenic, fun singletrack that at times is narrow and twisty, and at times wider and flat. You pass by old ruins of railroad tressles leftover from the Wilmington-Western railroad of the 1800's, and ruins of early settlers houses in the middle of nowhere that are at least 200 years old. The tree canopy is so thick that in Summer when it is 90 something degrees, it is 10-15 degrees cooler on the trail, and you can always go for a swim in the White Clay!
