I don't know if I can pick just one, but I'd have to say SIMPLE MAN.

Am I that predictable? Was it the family & mortgage that tipped you off? ;)

Tuesday's Gone came in a close second.

If I learned anything by being hit by a board while working security at a Skynard show a few years ago it's that I never had a favorite Skynard song.

I also learned that event promoters that build the beer tent corral out of 2x4s and snow fence can protect their own damn kegs.

I think it has alot to do with various drunks at almost every show my band has ever played yelling out "Play Freebird!" and to be honest I'm just not a huge southern rock fan. Oh well, my loss I guess.

HEy,, what about Sweet Home Alabama? It wouldn't be Skynard without that one!
Freebird is also wayyy cool.

I almost didn't even post this since not only can I not pick one, but the two I can't choose between are the first two mentioned in this thread.
Simple Man, and Ballad of Curtis Loew.
Thats great music!

personally i'd go with "all i can do is write about it" ..

it's not their typical party/radio hit - but it's a well written heart felt tune.
