Hey hey,
Sooo.... I'm new to this commuting thing. Certainly not new to bikes.... Just took my car off the road, which is for sale anyone interested in a volvo 740 turbo wagon,
anyways....
I'm just wondering what yous guys think as far as panniers/trailer/messenger bag

Clothing.... extra commuting essentials besides the basic tools and tube and pump etc.

I'm going to ride about 30 miles each way to the shop.
And how about showering in the sink? any suggestions?

thanks for any help
Adam

Hey,
I use a backpack...a great product from Vaude for my commute of about 13 miles. I thought of using panniers, but I just can't get myself to buy them.

As for showering, I've heard that some companies will install facilities if you insist. Now maybe you don't work for a company, like I work in a home based busienss of a friend, so there is a shower, but if you can get people to commute, then you are not alone and maybe a shower is in order. I actually heard of a guy that would not take a job until they promised him they would install one.

peace

My commute isn't as far. but I use a Chrome messanger bag for my 9 miles each way. I keep a bunch of Cool Wipes in my desk, they are baby wipes that smell diffrent and are supposed to help stop sweating I think old spice makes them..
