Because of airline rules, I am at the mercy of the local bike shops on what chainlube I can use. In the USA I was a fan of Pedro's Ice Lube. I guess I could order stuff on-line but I pay through the nose in shipping.
A couple of days ago I went to the LBS and picked up some Zefal "Dry Oil".
I liked the warning on the back in 5 languages:
Beware: harmful to aquatic systems on a long-term basis. Avoid accumulation of electrostatic charges. Use appropriate protection. Do not swallow. Keep out of reach of children. Do not smoke.
I feel I need a hazmat suit to apply this stuff.
Anyway I applied some on the SS today before going out. It works! Toxic but works!
