Dirt Rag Staff:
Great magazine. Keep it coming. To echo some other opinions I have seen posted, here are the reasons I like the magazine:
1. Substance. There really is a lot of stuff, useful interesting stuff to read in each issue. Fiction, interviews, product reviews, etc. In contrast, the current issue of Bike, once you get past all of the pics and ads, has about three pages of text. Unfortunately, many of the other bike mags have degenerated into a bike version of Mens Journal/Cosmopolitan, or worse, little more than a catalog of stuff.
2. Balance. Your editorial staff has an opinion, which you of course are entitled to. But you don't beat your readers over the head with it and you also air differing opinions, even if they differ radically from your own. Loved the "Irate Phone Call" in #100!
3. Reality. You write stuff about real people and real gear that most people can afford. The occasional piece on the $4000 bike in interesting, but most of the stuff I see in Dirt Rag more relevant to the average (not wealthy) rider.
My .02. Thanks for a fine magazine.
