Hey, guys, have any of you used or know anything about the White Industies ENO eccenctric SS hub. It's expensive, I know, but I hate chain tensioners; they're ugly. I have a geared moutnain bike that recieves no action because of its gears and it's a really good frame, a Mountain Goat Joule.

Lookout for issue #101.... In it we review the White Industries ENO eccentric singlespeed hub, the ENO singlespeed disc hub and the ENO freewheels in both ti and stainless steel. Lets just say that all reviews are positive...

Not used them, but.............................
The only SS freewheel I will use now is the White Industries Eno. Shimano bmx freewheels last about 3 months in the winter round here, very sandy soil, very wet (england). Since changing to the Eno, had no problems, just splashed out and got a ti version for my new Spot.
So, if its White Industries, I would say, it works well and lasts well, buy one

I received an email from Lynette of White industries that by the end of summer, White industries will come out with a single speed specific crank. I believe they will use only one chain ring..duh!, and the max size will be 34 teeth.

I like their quality and hope this one will follow siut.

All the best

I ride mostly bikes with horizontal dropouts, but I ordered a White Ind. hub for a customer. I was surprised to check it out. what is really nice is that they will make it in odd sizes. this was a 126 spaced hub for an older bike our customer was going to set up as a fixed gear ride. I would only caution that this hub could raise or lower the center of your wheel causing issues for brakes. If you ride fixed this is not an issue.
