Wanna commmute like there's no tomorrow. It's been dry, warm, and inviting all week. It's also been dark for what would be the first hour of my 85 minute ride in the morning. The roads are essentially empty at that hour, but the traffic that is out there is groggy, distracted, and steering their death-sleds too fast.

All the lights in the world aren't a shield against fenders and bumpers.

Barn dogs are another issue altogether. I may yet get my concealed-carry permit for them. Perhaps a starter's pistol?

well what about the evening trail riding? seems to be a fair trade off. sorry, I'm loving the time change. I don't have a real job though so...

me too - love the evening light - i will take morning darkness over evening darkness any day of the week. rode in 5:15 [bout an hour and change] and it was cool, but peaceful.
i will take this over a bright sunny snowstorm anyday!

Trails all too wet 'round here yet. 'Sides, I'm looking to save the planet for my kids...one ride at a time.

I have never liked it being daylight when it's after 21:00 in June and July. Rather it were light at 05:00 instead. Must be the farmboy in me.

I'm with plume & dave--I'm lovin' the DST! It's nice to get in a decent ride in after work. I went out yesterday to one of my favorite local trails. It was sweet! Trail conditions were near perfect. My fat ass is out of shape so I was huffing & puffing, but it was great to be back out on singletrack.

sorry, i'm ringin' in on the other side -- hate DST! dark in the AM, still light when i have to sit down w/ my daughter & her homework. leaves me about 2-3 months out of the year to enjoy a sunrise before work....
