upgrade help.....!!!!

i have a 1999 Giant EB Comp bike and want to either upgrade it or get a new bike. I love this bike and i feel extremely comfortable on it. If i were to upgrade i would get a front shock, riser bars, better shimano components. Do you think it is worth it for me to do this or should i just wait little longer and buy a newer bike??? let me know what you think.

Get a new bike for serious trail riding, but save your Giant for commuting etc.

Word up. You only lose a bike when you need to sell it to buy a new one, and even then you should probably just keep saving. Bikes are like computers: The more you have, the more you can dedicate them to specific tasks and have backups when one of them takes a shit on you.

thanx guys, what i did was just get some new pedals (egg beaters), a riser bar, and a new seat. all stuff that i can transport to a new bike when i save enough money to get one. thanx a lot
