This will be the 4th and final time I try and submit on this computer. I am in the public library in Tucumcari New Mexico. I got here yesterday; it was about a 60 mile ride, from here its hwy 54 into the states of Texas Oklahoma and Kansas. As a whole the people of the state of New Mexico have been friendly, only the police have been a pain in the neck.
Yesterday I went to Saint Anne’s Catholic Church here to talk to a priest about some work. He said he had no idea where to find any, but he would contact the people with Saint Vincent DePaul and have they put me in a room. He said he could not approve it, that they had to because that’s how things were set up. Here’s how things went down, the people in charge of Saint Vincent DePaul were gone, so they called a back up lady who came and told me to “kick rocks” she knew no one with work and wasn’t about to put an able body worker in a room. I went back and asked the priest where the nearest Episcopal Priest was at. All at once, between the secretary and the priest, somehow they managed to get the room approved.
I received an e-mail from a family in Kansas, offering me a bed for the night and breakfast if i went through there. Since I am headed that way, I figure I will answer the e-mail.
All-in-all the state of New Mexico has been alright, other than these. That remind me of retired old Yankees. They have the same attitude as the Yankees that go to the south and tear stuff up. If anyone reading this is a full fledge “cracker” from the south such as myself, then you know just what I am talking about. From here, its 54 east into Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas.

I am in a little town called San Jon New Mexico, at the city center where they have free internet access. Last night it rained and was windy as hell. I think they had tornado warnings. It was nasty, but my little tent held up well. It’s a little Coleman mountain survival tent.
From here I will head into Oklahoma Kansas and Missouri then back to the Arlington national cemetery to photograph Pat Tillman’s grave, although I still don’t feel he deserved the Silver Star… He did something, I will admit… I would not have done and that is when president bush gave him the opportunity to get out of his military obligation and not go to Iraq, to stay and continue to play pro-football. I would have stayed defiantly. Something that deserves the up-most respect, but he did what he should of done. He was killed by friendly fire. I am sure not the first. But how many others received silver stars.
I received an e-mail from a man in Kansas offering me a bed for the night and a meal if I went thru Kansas. A few months ago a lady from Kansas called my mother stating how much my journeys meant to her. I think I will answer the e-mail and head to Kansas next. Last night it stormed like hell; I think they had tornado warnings, but my little Coleman mountain survival tent held up well.

Signed because it just can't. There are other solutions out there that must be created besides laisez faire capitalism and identity stripping communism. Stop trolling and start solving. What do you "do for a living?" hanks! Please never respond to any of my posts ever again. Thats great. While you are at it, could you stBenI am not a Roman Catholic, but I still don't really see the connection between these ideas. Unless it is the senseless rape of the innocents by all three types of authority figures you mention. I am all for equality, but the problem with communism is that it goes beyond our claim of up with a better solution to our problems that pulling out the tired argument that a true communist state has never existeop trying to brainwash CHILDREN into biggots?
NEVERI am not certain as to the relevancy of this question, but I might nibble at the bait. ck....maybe it has something to do with the Sun...hmmmmm) OR if I want to go and pray at the alter of Al Gore that is also my choice. I can drive a Hummer or a Prius. I can be rude or polite. If I dont like what my local policitian is doing I can try and vote them out of office but I also have to face reality that if a new Walmart wants in to my local market then I'm probably not going to have a whole lot of luck keeping one out of my backyard. Same goes for a new housing plan. The bottom line is that as an American (or anyone who live in a free society) our life is what we make of it. I choose to be happy and blessed that I live in this country and I will defend its honor at any chance. Yesterday was the anniversary of the invasion at Normandy. Our brave soldiers fought another kind of evil. Today that evil hides in plain site in a Mosque. That is a reality. It also hides behind guys like Chavez who start out as a populist but who once they capture power grow black inside. We can either sit back like Joe Kennedy wanted to I am a high school teacher. I spent the majority of my life in business management, but at the age of 37 I realized that the only thing I enjoyed about my job was working with my teenage employees. Oh, by the way. That is really what I do for a job. (But, I love my job.) For a living, I enjoy life, biking, lively discussions with people I don't know, puppies, fresh cookies from the oven, beautiful bicycles and earthy, smart women.
all men being created in the eyes of the law and presumes that we are all truly created equally in a natural sense. I am assuming that if you support communism then you would support Darwinian evolution theory. Well, the strong survive and the weak die. If you cannot adapt and evolve then you fail. Communism presumes to eliminate that simple tenet. It relies upon the idea that we are all well meaning brainless dweebs who believe in the idea that society is more important than the individual. Sorry, but my individual survival comes natural to me. I don't mean to cause harm to others, but if it is between you and me eating and I have the food, then I eat before you. And, if you have the food and I don't, I am going to try my damndest to get your food. So, please, oh please come
So, to pre-empt judgement. Yes, I work in a socialized government job supported through the collection of taxes. I have first hand experience as a beneficiary of socialized government programs. For those who find faults with public education, I see them, no I work with some of those problems everyday. (I don't want to go into a tirade about incompetent eduompany. Shouldn't Dirt Rag Inc. get to decide who can and cannot respond tcators.) Anyway, AM Radio, after re-reading my original post, in response to your post about there not yet being a "pure communist" government, I have only one edit. I would remove the "troll" remark. That was a little uncalled for, I get surly (wish it was a crosscheck) in the morning. But, I do have several questions for you.
1) What is it that you do for a "living" and again the relevancy of the question? As I presume that this is to be some sort of support as to why your experience might be more relevant than my experience. 2) Why do you ask people such as ironspoke (man, that must be some mean rotating mass) to stop responding to your posts? It is for the most part a public forum supported by a private co any postings? Not you nor I? Fudgedit I'm just gonna sit back and watch you handle all of this as you are doing a fine job I must say. Common sense would dictate that you allow this same kind of debate in your classroom which is a great thing and I applaud you for it. Too many people in society today like to stifle debate (AM is a good example of this). I bring up a fairly lighthearted comment about the Miss Universe contest and this guy in two posts after that claims I'm raising bigots and then implies I have no basic understanding of Communism. And then he says he would love it if I never post any reply to any of his comments again even though it was he who replied to MY comment. Its almost laughable. Its funny how the Libs are the ones who are supposed to be so tolerant of everybody yet they are the first ones to try and shout you down. Personally I could give two shits if anybody wants to believe that Thanks, I think. Just for the record, I am a liberal tree hugging bastard who truly believes that we have had a negative effect on our environment and do have an obligation of environmental stewardship. I just believe in common sense, personal experience, and listening to both sides (even though I do get mad at times.) But, seriously some of my best friends are conservatives. Really! That is what is missing in our political landscape these days is tolerance and we can blame that on the baby boomers on both the left and the right!Communism is a great form of government. I really dont care because it obviously is not. They cant seem to understand that their negative comments about government are only tolerated in a free society. They like to bitch and moan about how rotten this country is and how brainwashed people like me are, yet there never seems to be any movement out of this country and into one of these other superior countries. A member of this message board is experiencing first hand the horrors of a dictator yet I could turn on Air Amerika (if I could find it) and hear how Bush is a dictator. It just doesnt make sense. Now to be fair back in the late 90s a large number of Republicans were so consumed with their hatred of Bill Clinton that they werent necessarily making clear decisions either but that is for another post. The total disconnect is what I cant seem to grasp. If the government said something then it must be bad/wrong/dicated by the multi-national corporations. I'm sorry but those multi-national corporations enable me to get up every day and go to work and drive a car and raise a family and maybe actually get to ride my bike (some were made here but others were made in Taiwan). I am also able to turn on hot water for a shower and use an indoor toilet. Then if I chose I can actually go the church of my choice. I may want to sit on the computer and read about how "man made" global warming is still up for debate (I'm still trying to figure out who decided what the optimum temperature of the planet is supposed to be and how we experiengedit....you are correct. There is no corner on the market on either side as far as wanting to stifle debate. It just seems that some are more equal than others.
ced an Ice Age a few years ba do and let Hitler do what he wants or we can take action. Freedom is what drives us all and it is freedom that is the only thing that can lift the human condition out of misery.
