Last night I rode a Jamis exile 26'' singlespeed and had a blast also rode my friends 29'' niner. My question is I want a singlespeed just don't which to get if I get the 26'' it comes with a shock the 29'' is rigid which I could put a fork on it down the road. Which bike should I get? Help me make up my mind i'm leaning a little bit towards the 29'' and put a reba on it later.
2niner?

If you ride most dirt...I will go with SS 26...easier to accelerate, if you ussually ride steep hills. 29ers roll, roll, and roll nicely, but are a bit harder, just a bit to accelerate...it is a tough one...I like both bikes...I would not use suspension on the 29er...maybe I would choose the 29er with gears if again you ride steep hills.
I do like to ride SS, in fact it is almost the only bike I ride...but it is personal...and 29ers are fun bikes...I know this will not help but just wanted to answer...

We rode last night in Coopers rock in wv lots of hills and the 29" i rode had 32 x 20 gears and I didn't have much trouble getting moving. I guess i'm wondering if a 29'' rigid would handle well its been over 10 years since i've ridden without a fork.

jokes of forkless riding aside...
the rigid will handle brilliantly, the question really is can you take the bumps?
i found no comparison whatsoever going from a 26" to 29" rigid. the 29 really smoothed out a good percentage of the ugly on the trail.
follow your heart, 29 rigid and drop 400$ on beer.

Go rigid man! I built up a rigid 29er ss this spring and have not regretted it at all. Very fun to ride.

yeah, there's a reason the 29'er doesn't come with suspension. doesn't need it nearly as badly as the itty bitty 26" wheels.

as a recent convert to the beauty that is big wheels...
yatta, yatta, yatta...get the 29er. SS or not, and rigid is where it's at. Ask any of the girls.
