Now that I’ve gone the way of the 29er, my poor Maverick has been lonely and gathering dust in the garage, and it is a sweet bike and deserves better…it is a great do-everything bike – trail riding, racing, technical rides. It climbs like a goat, too. Pretty amazing for a 4” + 4” travel full suspension bike, and reasonably light. It has all high-end stuff on it as well.
Here are the specifics:
Maverick ML7, size medium, black anodized finish (with the usual rub spots and a few scratches).
Professionally/factory serviced rear shock, all bushings/pivots nearly new as well.
New, updated/redesigned Monolink
Virtually brand new Manitou Minute fork (< 5 rides)
FSA Integrated Headset
Thomson Stem
Thomson Seatpost
Easton EA70 mid-height risers (scuffed up anodization)
WTB Laser V Ti saddle
XT drivetrain
XT cranks
SRAM Cassette
Avid Mechanical Disc Brakes + Avid Speed Dial levers
Mavic Crossmax SL Disc UST Tubeless wheelset (the best of the best, in my opinion)
Maxxis Ignitor UST Tires (almost new, very little wear)
XTR Cables
Plus, I’ll include:
Spare Fox Talas RLC fork (slight stanchion wear, but works great)
Spare Front Derailleur (Mavericks use a braze-on style)
Bottom line is that this is a great bike with great parts that’s just not getting ridden. Would definitely fit someone between 5’7” and 5’11”.
Probably $4500+ worth of stuff, asking $1500 for the whole thing (no pedals, though) – only slightly negotiable, though extended payment terms can be considered.
Shipping would be additional. I'm in Southeastern PA, near Valley Forge, if any locals are interested. PayPal highly preferred.
Let me know ASAP, as I’ll be putting it on eBay next Monday if I don’t have any takers.
