Who has experience using a "trials" white industries SS freewheel? Can one use these to trail ride too, or is it for just tricking/trialsin'?

thanks

The trials version just has some extra pawls in it to make engagement even snappier. Technically (from what I understand), it's just a "better" version of their already sweet ENO freewheel. If you found one for cheap, grab it. If not, go with the regular version (works awesome) and save yourself some cash.

my regular one i super quick anyway, the trials one would be crazy.if i remember right its only available in 18t, ok for 29er though. if it comes in your size and you are wealthy, go for it, these things are a lifelong part like king headsets, and then you can justify it by saying $100 divided by 30 years is not that much. I found many ways to justify spending money on parts, even if they arent needed.

there are two problems with the trials.
first, only available in 18.
second, when i switch to and fro with the (perfectly good even excellent) NORMAL eno...it feels weak...

i am out...now.
webcyclery maybe, and given their trials/ss slant they seem likely to have stock, but i cant tell for certain. i make no claims, promises or suggestions on their behalf.

i believe white ind has waived forms TR109 and TR113 but you can expect to prove (via FR101) that you dont frame clamp and that you do mop your galoshes with pepsident.
