Sometimes I feel like a gerbil or Jason Faulkner post JF. It appears that there is intrest, yet noone posts. Has this forum's body set up hard--ready for burial?

Google's searchbots are great lurkers, but very poor typers. Kinda like our friend Benjamin Best.

I've noticed this same phenomonon the whole time i've been a member. My suspicion is most people are very comfortable reading what goes on and feel little desire to get involved, wether thats good or bad I'm not sure.

I do know that there are roughly 20-30 people who account for the bulk of the posts here, and it is kind of a club. There seem to be few threads which feel (to the outsider) to be open enough for comment as most evolve into running commentary that is hard to break into unless you know the character of the characters :D posting.

Then again maybe it just that it seems that way to me because I'm not particularly witty!

I like to think of Benjamin Best
as not only our friend but as insperation to anyone that may ever write a prescription and or a "true crime," novel.

Being on the west coast, or wet coast as Rocky puts it, I find the Forum kind of quiet at times, especially when it's late at night (my usual time for getting on). The rambling back and forth mentioned above seems to largely involve those in the middle and eastern parts of the hemisphere. This is likely of little or no concern to anybody, but I felt compelled to contribute. Now I can go back to vicariously living everybody else's lives.

When I drive down 23rd street in the morning, say roughly 9:15 or so(just after Priscilla's opens) their parking lot is quite crowded. Not with the usual persons,or the 19 year old bland lady type's(driving hummer H2's, and wearing 2ft. leather boots) but instead I see Lincolns and Cadillac's. This makes me wunder... Does A.A.R.P mimbers get a discount betwix the whore's of 9am and 10:07am.? It's hard to say for sure, one thing I know is that cable television, somehow makes 21 Jump Street re-runs more interesting than the originals. Does that booker guy really endorse "asstro glyde"? Did Holly's brazierre get larger between season 3 and 4? or is it just me...?

OK so we design a jacket (leather with lots of zippered pockets of course) at the get together in KS. Then we'll be members of a 'cycle club! Theivery optional. :D

Probably some of those "guests" are members who haven't logged in yet until they see something they want to reply to.

Yep, just checked. Went from 210 guests and 1 active member (hello there, davkatreb) to 209 guests and 2 members when I signed in to post this message. I guess that doesn't change the big picture much though unless there are about 100 guests just lurking about ready to sign in and post a message.

Oh well, got to go see when the zoo opens to take the kids to see the real critters and the fake dinosaurs (Cleveland Zoo).
