van dessel hubs

Im thinking about buying an actual pair of single speed wheels. These will double how much I paid for my bike, but Im tired of having mine act poorly.

The van dessel single/fixed look pretty dope and are well priced. Has anybody ever used them? Is there slippage due the lack of track nuts? Im just nervous putting down this much money on a company I know very little about.

i tried to order some as well and got the whole "we wont have more in until late july". i'm still going to order them since i'm not in a huge rush for em. i was ordering the road hubs, but if you are looking for the mountain hubs...i know you can get them from sheldon browns site. check there. i'll let you know how mine work, or you can let me know how yours work. deal?!
