Just a quick shout out to Toronto! I try to
make it to Toronto a couple of times a year. This is the first time I brought the cross-bike. Toronto is a nirvanna for the bike lover. Bike lanes, bike paths, bike trails all leave me salivating, everytime I go, especially on my commute this morning in Pittsburgh traffic. Such a large portion of people ride. Endless waves of bikes locked to endless racks provided by the city. I need to start sporting a maple leaf out of love and respect. I have always loved this town, but now it's more than just sex! Solid!

Max,

Did you have a chance to go riding north of the city. 100 Miles north of toronto you'll find some of the nicer trails in central Ontario.

Next time you're in the area checkout Hardwood Hills(www.hardwoodhills.ca) for great single & double track riding and Blue Mountain in Collingwood, Ontario for DH.

Take it ease,

Chris

Yep, them Hardwood Hills trails are cool, at least the ones set up for the 24-Hour course a couple years ago. I liked the way the course ended on the BMX track. It's also really cool to be driving on the highway and see numerous signs for "mountain biking," which you don't see too much in the states.

Last time we were in Toronto, I couldn't help but notice how friendly everyone was. And happy.

Anyone know anything about Canada's immigration policys? Like would they take in Americans fed up with their own country?

I've looked into that quite a bit. I'm already a duel citizen, but let's just say I've passed the Canadian immigration test online, and just waiting for a move. Irish/Canadian has a nicer ring to it.;)
