If the trail I usually ride wasn't one long root garden I would probably ride one, but for now I am on a 26" aluminum squishy. I realize it borders on blashemy to admit this on the DR forums, but oh well. Oh yeah, mine's also got a whole whack of gears.:o I did try a rigid 29er SS on my usual trail, through a relatively root-free section, and it was fun until I squeezed the rear brake lever and the god-damn bike failed (sliding drop-outs twisted in the frame resulting in wheel-to-chainstay contact)! I might try one again in the future, but with an EBB instead.
