Maurice, Justin, Karl, our friends Carol and Jason as well as myself will all be there in north Jersey next weekend. Who else is going to be riding in the race? Or actually racing in the race!?

Conflicts with a M.A.S.S. race in Delaware and is only a week before the Seven Springs 24 Hour race, so a lot of folks I know are missing it this year (including me).
Shame, because it is a really well run event and a great course.

Is it bumpy? I'm afraid my bum might hurt. No really, looking for bike tips. Full sus? Hardtail? One Speed? If one speed, are the climbs steep? Meow meow.

I've raced it on a singlespeed for the past six years. There's a few bumps here and there. Few rock sections, few double tracks, few single tracks few fireroads. I like front suspension.

I will be there. We are "racing" in the 5 person cat. We are team "Our S Don't shift". I am bringing both of my 29ers. One with gears, one without, and both rigid. We will see how it goes.

It's a great singlespeed course, for sure. There's usually one or two small sections that need to be hiked...ss or geared. Especially if it's wet. Lots of people are fine on the rigid for this race, but I just don't like rigid at all. And then in 2005, Rudi rode his girid, fixed cross bike solo for the race...he did seven laps.

I plan on going out on my single, as that is what I ride most of the year anyway, but I will have the geared bike there as a backup. I ride the Wiss all the time rigid, and I am fine with that, but I cannot wait to get my new 29er that will have a susp fork.
