... a little something to help you along with those finicky Italian names and bike companies!

I cringed when Phil referred to Ulrich's "aqua blue" jersey in the prologue. And I don't even particularly like Italian bikes. :)

Yeah, I noticed that too. It's like, dude... it's your job. Do it right or stay home. Learn the basics, man!

Phil was referencing the fact that the jerseys were dyed just off a true celeste green. He mentioned it, briefly, at the beginning of the tour. I have noticed that he makes weird little errors with names and such, the boy's getting old.

It's probably from all that french wine they've been sampling. ;)

Paul's right there catching what Phil drops though. The two of them do a great job together. Phil's got the history and the die hard Brit favoritism (for a shot that started long and gets longer every day) while Paul's the stone cold color man with the sharper prognostication skillz. Toss in Bobke every 45 minutes for color next to the noncyclist blonde eye candy plus at least two full hours of Subaru commercials for every 45 minutes of actual cycling, and you got yourself some damn fine sports tv.

Having just watched a recording of Stage 12, I do wish they'd invest in a translator or two instead of cutting away from the post-stage interviews.

And you've got to admit that Subaru at least beats the Lincoln Navigator of years past. :)

I ride to work on my DR Chipper. And yes, I'm sure David Millar (http://www.itsmillartime.com/) will somehow manage to run away with the Yellow Jersey!

True celeste green? I'll give you my XL Boron frame if you can show me two Bianchis the same color "celeste."

Cheers
