I have been intersted in this frame for a little while now and just decided to go ahead with it. I mean for $45 can't really go wrong.

The sizing though seems strange to me. According to their sizing chart, for a 23 in. top tube and a 20 inch seat tube (c t top) I would need a 23 in. frame.?? Their 21 inch frame has a seat tube of 18 in. (c t top)?? Is their sizing just kind of weird? What did you's find out about this?

Also, did I hear correctly that a 32 / 18 works as the magic gear for this frame? Thanks.

Kinda like they never read the "how to name the frame size" chapter. You'd think they'd have sized them as a 12", 14" 16" 18" and 20" in the classic seat tube description approach.

A 23" top tube with a 20" seat tube is a tad on the short side, unless that's actual and not horizontal TT length. They also don't give the headtube height so you can predict if your fork steerer will fit.

Thanks everyone. I normally ride a 20 in. and it looks like I'll need the 23 in. Nashbar.

Does a 32 x 18 gear work with no chain tensioner?

According to Nashbar, all their frames use the same chainstay length. According to some dude I know, they are all differnt. Milton's 19" went perfect 32/18, Astro(glyde's) 21" required a half link and 34/20, James was able to get 34/18 on his 23", but not worth a funk.
