question about DR 130

So while hanging out today in the "shop", I was leafing through issue 130 again, and I saw a picture I was wondering if anybody had any info about. On page 102, the bottom picture's caption reads "Texas hill country cruise. Photo by:Russell Duke" My question is what brand of bike is the double top tubed, looped chainstay, purle bike in the forground. At first I thought they were Texas Fireman Cruisers, but they were not on the website.

Those double top tube bikes are none other than Cook Bros. cruiser frames. Check 'em out here:

...the photographer, Russell Duke, cuz there looks to be a story behind that ensemble of SS's. Alas, I could only find an out-dated post on MTBR.com.
