I am going biking tomorrow and I just cleaned my chain and cogs. I am gonna lube it after it dries but I'm not sure which lube to use. It's really dry and gritty out right now. I have Syn Lube from wrench force (I thinks its made by pedro's), Tri flow, or I have Pedro's Road Rage. I was wondering if I should use the road rage since its a dry lube and it's pretty dry out right now, or is a dry mountain lube completely different?

It won't really hurt anything, why not give it a try and see if it works. I am always experimenting with different lubes for different conditions. However, I would suspect if it is dry and dusty that a road dry lube won't last long since the dust will contaminate the chain and flake off your lube.

doesn't really matter anymore haha. Woke up to a nice little drizzle, not enough to prevent biking, but enough to probably make the heavy duty lubes I have ideal haha. Oh well. Here's to the mud! :)
p.s. Don't worry, if it's bad, I won't tear up the trails and ruin it for everyone else

i prefer to use the finishline teflon or cross-country the teflon lasts in dryer conditions and the cross-country lasts just about in everything and your LBS should carry it

dumonde tech
works well for wet conditions.
I like pro link for the road sometimes.
