I ordered one of these from a local bike shop. They didn't have one around so I couldn't look at one live. Now I see that those sliding dropouts look funky compared to my 1x1.
Can I use a tugnut w/ this bike? Is there something else you can use for chain tension?

Which monocog did you order? About $500 or about $1K?
The cheap one has horizontal dropouts and comes with tugnuts.
The other one (the flight) has sliding dropouts....

It's the Flight. Just under 1k w/ tax:D About 3 drive tranes or 1 season worth of 9 speed shit.
Those sliders work pretty well?

yeah, I hear with the sliders you don't need to worry about them moving when they're tightened down.

The sliding drops have two bolts each to lock them in place.
Let us all know how the harder Japanese steel rides. I opted for the chromoly for simplicity (trackends) and the alleged softer ride.

Yeah,I don't know much about Sanko. I know I wanted the mechanical discs. It'll have some studded tires this winter too.
So Sanko's harder? I wonder where on a scale between 531 and aluminum. I'm sure it won't sound like a little league game on impact.
