Hi,

I am looking for a full suspension bike (entry level) while seeing two attractive bikes:
Specialized XC comp and Focus Fire edge.

I am not familiar with Focus bikes (my friend has recommended them but I can not find any review in the internet) but I know it's a German brand.

Anyone familiar with Focus Fire edge? Is it a good bike? What about its durability ? Should I go for the XC comp instead ?

Also, front fork looks not that good ... (dont know its brand).

Your help will be appreciated ....

Thanks,
Eddie

I am less concerned with front fork rather than the bike itself. Do you know anything about it?

The Fire Edge appears to be a proper Horst Link 4 bar and has a mid-range grouppo mix. The RS Tora fork is OK, a bit heavy. The Focus is better spec'd than the Spec FSR XC Comp. Ultimately you should test ride them both and make a decision based on the test ride (and dealer support).

Not many European made bikes make it to North America so you're not likely to find many people with first hand experience here. You might want to post the same question on:
