Hi All,
I'm sure that there have been posts about this before, but I'm just looking for a few quick opinions. I have seen many Festish frames on ebay for very low prices... (125 for a new XC frame). Does anyone own one, or have an opinion about them?

Rusty,
I raced a Fetish Black Soul all last season as a cat 2 and I can't say enough about it. The frame is fast, responsive and stiff. This fall I got a Fetish Position for cyclocross and I love it. It's an aluminum frame that feels like steel. My mountain bike is the Discipline and although I don't spend nearly enough time in the dirt I have to tell you that this bike is fast. I bought all the bikes directly from Fetish so I don't know what condition of the ebay bikes is but the website has great prices as well and they're new. In my 20 years of bike racing I believe that Fetish frames compete with the big boys and that in some cases produce a better bike. Check out their site at www.fetishcycles.com .

a guy i raced against broke his fetish seat, so i beat him that race very easily, hes normally a strong one too.
ive seen them around the past 3-4 years or so and the first thing i saw was not good looking weld quality so i never took another look. i thought they looked very cookie-cutter. but thats just me.

got a SAC and a Discipline (rigged up as SS)
love em both.
in terms of weight/durability/functionality i am 100% satisfied. i'm totally in love with the way they look and perform
the only bad things i can say are asthetic:
the welds on the Discipline are not subtle
they slap stickers on which beg to be peeled off
the new color schemes aren't as good as the old ones
the customer service was less than good, but i've heard others say the opposite.
www.ridefetish.com is good

I love fetishes older stuff, when it was made in the US.
one of my co-workers has a fixation, and a frinds has a discipline. both are a nice ride to me.

i had an SAC. it was a bit heavy for what they suggested the retail price would be, but i got it for $60 so no complaints.
the welds weren't the prettiest, but they looked alright.

I have a discipline that I've ridden the wheels off of. What initially was a solution to replace a frame during a cash crunch turned into my favorite hardtail frame that I have owned. They're solid, have predictable handling, and overall nimble and responsive geometry. The frames are a tad on the heavy side of things for hardtails, but other than that, I have no complaints.
