Financial Incentives for Commuting

I understand some companies give their associates a financial incentive/credit for commuting via bike or mass transit to work. Is anyone out there knowledgeable on the details of this...is there a gov. tax break or credit available to individuals who commute by bike?:rolleyes:

I read something about it a while back and presented this article to my boss. He said he's in when it passes. There are 4 out of the 20 employees where i work that commute by bike so we all are keeping our ears to the ground on this one.
