Beeeauuutiful ! You certainly have a knack for keeping your rigs pristine :)
And I second Mr. Rosengarth's Powergrips's nod ... until the snow melts my old Suntour XC Pros w/ Powergrips are the only pedals that will see any use.
Thanks for sharing the pics.

That SLIM is amazing. The spec on that bike is almost perfect too, except those pedals and that double-wrap on the bars. ;-P

Hehehe, I expected as much from you. The original wrap was just too hard on my delicate hands. Besides, she's not just a garage queen. She's actually getting out and seeing some action!
And as far as the pedals, I don't recall the seller ever offering to part with an original set from that era...

Heres a shot of the Wicked. It was one of the last 5 at the factory, and since I had just bought my Buck,Matt gave me choice of colors ;So I went with the team color for 96. It really is a cool ride I put a Z-Max on the front and a Primalraptor on the back last week for some snow riding. Oh yeah and a coat of wax:D

I think it has something to do with the file name when the photos are on DirtRag's gallery. I tried to link pics from my DirtRag album and it didn't work either.

Nuttin' legend about it. She's just a purty garage queen hanging in my vault. Nary a scratch. Not even in the dropouts.

Well I must admit, you are correct. But that's only because California mud makes for some really angry Sierra Clubbers.
However, the Wicked just saw 20 miles of rocky, narrow singletrack on Sunday.

Send me a PM or email. I was thinking of getting a Hite-Rite and Quad Tamer for my Wicked. I'm racing it in the vintage class at the Keyesville Classic (http://www.ssfta.com/)this March.
Here's a quote from the website:
"Has time passed you by? Do you feel like the bike industry has taken the soul out of the mountain bike? Does "nine inches of travel" mean to you the measure of the height that your bike bucks your bum above the seat, not suspension? Hyraulic disk brakes and carbon fiber make you groan with oily plastic disgust?
Well my friend, have I got good news for you! This year Keyesville will have Vintage Bike Races, Cross Country and Downhill and Short Track. Two classes, ten to 19 year old classics that can still kick the trail tail of the newest bikes, and 20 years and older bikes that started this whole Mountain Bike phenomenon."

This is the main reason I miss the USA. I don't miss mass-marketing big-box stores, I don't miss my family all that much...I miss this kind of stuff! Boy howdy, just to get in the car and drive some place new with my bike to ride. My Merlin could ride in the 10 - 19 category...Jeez! I wish I still had my original Trek...too bad it broke.

They taste a lot like spotted owl when deep fried. However, grilling them makes them taste closer to grilled bald eagle.

I rode a Surly Cross Check, using racks. I liked that bike because its astonishingly versatile, and I don't feel too bad beating the shit outta it. As for what you can see of the ride, I just graduated out of the film age and don't feel like scanning a ton of photos(on a scanner I don't have). It was stupid cool ride tho, It was a one way ride as I was moving to the farm from Mpls.
Hanukkah I got a digital, and will be sharing my rides through Oregon, South America, and all over the World.
Stellar bikes my friend. Cant wait to flex my 14 speed Gunnar.

Gimme a heads up when you'll be out this way and we'll ride.
I just got the Wicked set up properly for riding. It had a 160mm stem and Scott AT bars, not my bag. She's only recently been seeing the trail. I'm going to race it in a couple months.
