After 3 years hard service in Ghana(West Africa) , the Alps(Chamonix) & all over Scotland (including much hard training for the Scottish Mountain Bike Leader Award ), my trusty Enduro frame snapped on the seatpost ! Imagine my joy when, despite obvious signs of wear & tear, the good people at Specialized gave me an early xmas gift of a brand new 08 Stumpjumper frame as a replacement !This has renewed my admiration for the company which has carried me over endless rocky, technical terrain for thousands of miles & thousands of smiles !
My wife & both brothers-in-law also ride this brand & I'd recommend them to anyone ! !
Thankyou Specialized !

And lawsuits.
I like their product, they just sound like a bunch of litigation-hungry jerks.

they are just protecting their property. simple. many companies pay lots of money to use FSR and if they didn't press charges for Scott illegally stealing their patents then other companies, that do pay, would be pissed too.

I'm referring to the problems with Mountain Cycle's Stumptown (Portland's nickname) cyclocross bike supposedly infringing upon the Stumpjumper name.

After 2 summers of racing mountain cross on a Specialized P2 the frame started creaking at the bottom bracket. Specialized replaced it with a current year P3 frame at no cost. This was last May. I didn't even buy the original bike at the shop that sent it back for me, at no cost. But I do alot of shopping at that shop, and had the bike before I knew them well. I raced the bike 2 years and they replaced it.
