I purchased a book after hearing the couple on a radio show interview. The title is "Middle Class Lifeboat, Careers and Life Choices for Navigating a Changing Economy" by Paul and Sarah Edwards.
I just started reading it, but I heard the interview and have skimmed through the book. Like any book in this genre (business) it's best used as a reference, but more interesting than most.

Is there a chapter in there on free kickbacks from Uncle Sam?;)
I wonder how many people out there who think we should all be paying higher taxes will go and donate their check.

:D I thought this same thing.
I never understand the higher taxes argument, esp when governments waste so much due to inefficiency. It's like having a 26yr old son on his 7th year of college and he keeps coming back to you asking you for another year's tuition.

Tommy: A lot of people go to college for seven years.
Richard: Yeah, they're called doctors.

Actually, by cutting income tax rates and corporate tax rates the economy would explode almost immediately.
It would also help to get some new leaders in Washington, hell while your at it some new ones at the local and state level too, instead of the current crop of pseudo leaders we currently have.
You can't tax yourself into prosperity. I agree with phatlander, these people that want higher taxes, hell just send in more of your money.
