Rescued this from Craig's List. Powder coated the frame and rims.

HELL YEAH! :D

That is exactly what I need! My friend's parent's got one for his younger brother (21), who has Downs, and can't ride a two-wheeled bike. It has fenders, square-taper BB, HUGE basket, and a six foot flag. Every time I go over, I air up the tires and ride it down the street. Not so easy to wheelie, but I can ride the thing the length of the neighborhood on two wheels, just not when the younger brother is looking :p Wouldn't want him to try it and get hurt

One way or another, I want that bike one day. The perfect grocery getter, though I would have to get a parking space :p

Oh, and I would love to try it as a snow bike. Add a front brake and load a few cinder blocks in the back. Get 'ya to werk, fer sure.

That is a great find. I wish that I could come across one of those...

I see them go for $250 plus on CL every once and a while.
I snagged this baby for $140 and got the powder coating done for free. I did sink around another $100 or so replacing all the spokes and some other parts.

Pretty fun to ride.

awesome. 2 of my roomates have/had trikes. one got stolen out of the back yard, and one is sitting in the living room right now.

neither one is half as hot as yours tho! that thing looks awesome. is it 1 wheel drive, straight 2 wheel drive, or 2 wheel with a dif?

Friends of mine scored a tandem trike this past fall, They paid a hundred bucks for it. They weren't certain about it, but we all were like you are crazy for not buying it. Can't wait till spring to take it for a spin.

It's just 1 wheel drive

It's just 1 wheel drive
Which is fun to spin the tire while leaning to one side:p

Are those 26's in the back? Or something smaller?

Regular 26" wheels in the back. The front is a 26 3/8" or something like that. It's a old school size.
