I didn't plan on buying a new road bike today. I just put a Surly Pacer together last spring. But this is a nice addition to the stable

You wont' be sorry . The Chris/Slim Chance bike is sooo amazing.

I had to give up the road for good. I have what I call "car-fear". It stopped being any fun for me. I still get to take mine around the block now and again. It was far and away the coolest road bike I've ever ridden, better than a Merlin Cielo even.

Thats a sweet rig . I was looking for a frame for my buddy when I came across the Chris Chance Road ,I had to buy it, it was such a great deal. Thanks for the compliments:D I'm a real happy guy

oOOHHH Man is it purdy!! Keith Anderson just painted it. And it looks awesome!! Even more importantly it fits me right. I wish it wasn't raining so I could go ride it:rolleyes: but tomorrow is supposed to be nice. Hopefully I'll get to ride it then.

The ride went well. I put 45 in on it Saturday. Mostly hills up and down. This bike is so responsive !! I really dig it. Sunday I rode w/ the wife and got in 38 on the bike trail. Just so unbelievably comfy. Really glad I bought "The Chris" as its become known as at the house:D

Yeah, it's the same bike. We live in the same area. He let me ride it around the block after we got done riding our Yo's and I wouldn't let him have it back. So now she's in my stable.

I fully agree about the "responsive" ride. Compared to my modern road bike, this thing feels like a slot car. Superfast in the turns!

Haaha ! My buddy has one in the same color combo as my Wicked ( Chameleon Mettalica) and if it was my size I woulda done had a matching pair!! But the blue is growing on me, the paint on it is flawless:D:D
