Another Newbie

Hello all, I am getting back into mountain biking after a brief break (5 years). I have been heavily into BMX the last few years, but thought I'd switch gears back to mountain biking. I just purchased a GT Avalanche 3.0 Disc last week and so far I love the bike. I have ridden it maybe four times so far, but intend on riding more as the weather gets better. I just wanted to pop in to say hey and I look forward to spending a lot of time on this site.

How's the newer one handling the trails?

The newer one (red theme) handles great on the trails that I ride. I kinda like the older one better though because that's what I have ridden since 1983. I picked up the newer one and fixed her up, but I no longer ride it as much since I bought a new mountain bike. The red one is for sale if you are interested....

You ride your BMX's on mountain biking trails? That sounds like a ridiculous amount of fun!

I'm not looking for a bmx right now, but someone on the forums is. There's a BMX thread on the Hang Out forums and a WTB on the flea market forum.
