this is the bike i use for DH racing or road trips to epic locations. mods are 2.7 tires, the lyrik fork, wider bonty bars, fsa bash, acid pedals, and new x-9 shifters with matchmaker. the color(sweet) was only sold as test bikes, but i built mine straight from the box,i just had to keep it at the shop when not in use in case anyone wanted to ride it. i love this thing.

I do like that color, and would like to see it in person, coz on the tube it's just not the same. In person is it a sort of brick/clay red, or is there more pink in it than that?

Thanks for the info. I'm due for powdercoating one of my frames in the next month or so, and I'm gonna put brick red on my list of possible colors. Need to go to the PC place and check out if that's one of their options, but I do like that look.

i think it goes really well with the gold bars and fork stancions myself.

like rob said, i am fearless on it. i just charge everything on it and dont use the brakes. since i normally ride a 26" rigid SS it feels like a alsolute monster, so i race DH on it too. ive really only rode it maybe 12-15 days, cuz its overkill around here, except on the roadtrips, but the times ive spent on it have been real quality, porcipine rim, slickrock, sovergn, carbondale, wis DH race, just a bunch of great trips.
it climbs pretty good too when i put the 2.3 tires on,if i remember to stay seated.a great all mountain bike i think.

Sounds like fun.

Yeah, it would be cool to have a "big bike" but I'd have to load it in the auto to find a decent place to ride.

TREKcialized?

Cool bike/color. Your neighbor's beagle thinks so, too. :)

the trek head badge was a joke from a friend at the shop, taken from a trek frame we broke, he put it on cuz we all dont like trek very much, i left it on for fun.

thats actually my beagle. his name is UNO, no just kidding. his names lambo/beagledozer.

Your "DH" rig looks suspiciously like an "AM" rig....:D

Hopefully you put the seat down a little for DH...
jk, nice bike. I'd rather have an SX tho.
