I was browsing a Monstercross thread when I saw this super-hot MonsterCross bike. The more I look at it, the more I like it. Then I notice "Groundup" on the downtube. I think, hey, that's Rattlecan. Nice bike but it's gotta look funny seeing the rider tucked down on those drops and spinning out on that gearing. :D

Somehow riding where that bicycle is intended will not cause one to spin out.

Or maybe the rider is just wusslike?

SORRY i have been off line for a bit...

i made this one about 15 months ago and i remember the trouble i had to go through to get the stainless dropouts made by my cnc machinist. it was worth it.

oh, and this was the first frame i made after i made the starting gate in my tiny shop for the local bmx track.

i think this is what i enjoy MOST about not making anything the same--- i dont know when i will see the bike again but a whole bunch of other memories pop up at the same time- kinda like when you hear an old favorite song from a few years ago...
