marzocchi xc 700 - ('07) ???

anyone have any feedback on this fork? i am considering purchasing one from jensen usa, (~$259) to use on a '91 superlight frame i am building up. claimed weight is 4.43 lbs, which seems kind of heavy for an xc fork. ? any info would be appriciated. thanks...

Stay away from the 2007's, they need service right out of the box to change oil weight and level to keep them from bottoming out. The 2008's are better as they have more of the Taiwan manufacturing issues sorted out.

Bought the XC600 off of Jenson for $239 (?) and it was spewing oil out of the topcap (Not even at the stanchion seal) after only a few trailrides.
