Has anyone out there tried the no-tubes on 29" tires? I'm considering the purchase but need to get the lowdown first. I've got Bontrager race 29's.

Thanks for any help.

...and I'm running IRC Mythos tires.

I haven't done any conversions on 29" rims, but I would guess that one more inch would not make a difference providing there is a kit for 29" rims. So far, the few conversions I have done are working well.

I cannot speak to the tires you are using. I have only converted tube rims to work tubeless mated with tubeless tires.

Your best bet is to contact Stan through their websitehttp://www.notubes.com They are very good at responding quickly.

There have been some fit & quality control issues with 29er tires & rims that can make Stan's downright dangerous with the wrong combo. Some of the guys on that bored have already eaten some dirt in the name of progress, so they should have the downlow for you. Try the search feature to get quick answers, as this topic has been covered several times already.

I ran the IRC Notos tubeless with no problems. Since the Mythos are from IRC, they should work just as well, particularly if you're using the Stan's recommended Bontrager rims.

Warning, though, don't try it with Bontrager Jones tires. Blew out the bead.
