Made the mistake of weighing my ss yesterday. Its a 28lb pig. But so much fun to push around.

What's the word on that Redline Oceansize?

i havent weighed my CUSS yet, but it feels super light..definetely lighter than my road fixie. funny thing..you CAN NOT find a picture of a CUSS on the internet. it's not on the bianchi site, and any review of it is absent a picture. does anyone know what the C.U.S.S stands for? i've managed to get definitions for the rest of the bianchi series....but no CUSS.

I'd be willing to bet that somewhere on the mtbr ss gallery page there's a pic of a CUSS. The acronyms were discussed briefly a few months back, and if my vague memory serves one didn't actually stand for anything. Maybe that's the CUSS. Otherwise, if its a steel frame, my money's on Chromoly Unit SS.

I'll dig around the ss board tomorrow and see if I can't come up with something more definitive.

Before this SS thing went all crazy, I had a whole garage full of them. Since I was around fourteen, I've been acumulating BMX cruisers. My '84 Schwinn Predator Cruiser Kicks ASS. As well, I just built up a '64 Schwinn DX frame with a springer fork and all BMX parts. It looks like a street rod. One speed, freewheel, Araya 7X rims, it's sweet.... But I bet weighs a metric ton. Hell the front end alone probally weighs 25 pounds.

Leapfrog rules!

That's cool that you are getting a new bike Oceansize. I am so envious. I have been jonesing for a new bike for a long time--Been lusting for a Titus racer-X. Gonna get one next spring even if I have to sell my car!
