welp,

haven't been around for awhile, but i have been riding quite a lot. went for a nice snow ride this past sunday, took some photos, thought i'd share a couple.

the bigwheels make the snow travel a blast, and all the while my roomate was just stoked to finally ride a SS, good for him, only been bugging him for a year to try it.

only problem i had was my shimano freewheel skipping in the cold, need to lube it with some antifreeze, chester says it works, maybe some of you have done this. i'm going to try.

got home after the ride and decided to shellac my cloth tape on the old moustache bars, what a fun project, plus much grippier.

hope you all have a good holiday, ride some bigwheels, and do some two wheel drifts in the white stuff.

over and out
nate

oh, my feeble attempt at an artsy shot, but man MC sure builds a nice riding frame, so stoked i bought one from him, best bike decision i have ever made.

last shot of the shellac'd and hemp twined bars,

if any of you are looking for something fun to do this winter, i suggest trying it out.

Yea, that's a beautiful thing w/dat hemp and shellac job. I gotta agree, 29 in snow and/or ice is a distinct advantage. Too bad Matt doesn't like disk brakes.

I know Maurice. He seems to be pretty set on that. I'm sorta bummed becouse I really like his bikes, but I do alot of snow riding and disc' are SO much better. There's no way I could give them up. I think I'll still get one of Matt's cross bikes though.
