Any energy bar recipes?

Bicycling Mag had a peanut butter (rolled in coacanut) thing about 10 years ago, never tried it, sounded both messy and tasty...sort of like...well sort of like other stuff

you know like riding in mud.....

I haven't gotten the amounts worked out yet, but try:
Peanut butter-crunchy of course
Cooked quick oats, or Rice krispies
Honey-if you're a sweet freak, or maple syrup.
Coconut
Raisins-maybe
Chocolate chips

What do ya think? Could be edible.

How 'bout mashing in a banana, or banana chips - adds a K kick.

NDSPEED,
Usually a banana with my cereal or yogurt in the morning, then another 2 durning the day for snacks or as part of lunch. For long rides I always bring 1-2 also. So I guess I eat 2-3 per day, roughly 15 -20 per week. sometimes I get tired of 'em and go off for a week or so. As a matter of fact, I'm eating one now.
