I was wondering about posting images is well. It seems like it is off sometimes and on others. Also, Avatars .. apparently you have to point it to a url? Hmmm.. I could probably set something up to host Avatars for free if anyone is interested and Dirt Rag is concerned about space (understandable).

When you are posting a reply or starting a new message, there is a window (two down from this) wit a 'browse button' that you select and up load a pix from your computer. So if you see a picture on the net, you have to down load it to your computer first.

if you want to do an Avatars if you have a 50 x 50 pixel picture (read small...see the guy down below) you can create a spot on the net buy first including it into a message, then go to your message and click on the image (with a pc I think it is right click) so you get a window that you can 'view image' when you view image you will see in the address bar of your browser the address. Copy that. Or in 'edit' mode go below your message and click on the underlined name of your file.

with that address you need to go to the user CP button up on this page (and most) and when you navigate to where it asks for Avatars past in the address.
